This project was a kitchen remodel in the town of Rowayton. The home was a single story, Ranch style home.

The owners wanted an update to a modern kitchen with a much more open floorplan. They desired to make changes to allow a lot more natural light into the space, as well as provide significant elements of character not typically found in the Ranch style. As an example, they wanted a tray ceiling installed in the kitchen to make the home feel larger. The project required matching the wood flooring to the existing 1960's era White Oak, removing non-load bearing interior walls, re-wiring the electrical circuits to support the professional grade appliances, and installing propane tanks and lines for the range, grill, and dryer.
