Prior to this project, this home was a two story cape having a very small second floor, with low ceiling lines, and knee walls that follow the roof line. The owners family had outgrown the space and was also looking for more room for the kids, and their activities.

We removed the second floor saving the lower first floor of the house. We added a full size second floor with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a laundry room. We also added a third floor playroom for the kids, keeping a small area of the attic for much needed storage. On the lower level we extended the first floor back an additional 14 feet to increase the family room, kitchen, and dining room.
